A suburban Chicago furniture store chain, had no inventory
management system and was still dependent on its employees
remembering what was ordered and what was sold. Problems
like wrong and late orders, theft and other inconsistencies
were prominent. TechQED, Inc. analyzed the situation and
created a state of the art Inventory management solution
customized to the store's needs and implemented it at the
store. We provided the necessary training to the store employees
and management. Now all the stores in the chain are linked
to the software having one central database making the room
for errors virtually nil.
TechQED, provided the computers, installed the network
so that computers within one store and between stores can
access the same software from the server installed and configured
at the head office. We also designed and developed the software
which is highly scalable for adding more stores in the future
and is Web ready.
Like we said earlier we took care of everything and all
the store owners had to do was sit back and relax. Now the
management has a clear idea about the inventory and has
tighter control over its operations. Perfect example of
technology helping companies improve their operational efficiencies.

Case 2
A really hard working community service organization with
some great personalities who have devoted their lives to
the community was struggling with its computers and its
network. They "supposedly had a network" as somebody
else had installed it for them for a hefty fee.
The computers where in bad shape and the network was never
there in a way it should have been. Even after spending
so much money they were without a working system.
TechQED's trained Network professionals went in and within
hours, the whole Network was setup with cables perfectly
laid out (neat and out of sight), all computers hooked to
the network and running, printers installed and shared,
and a smile on everybody's faces.
